Is NTUC Income Capital Plus policy for you?
In Mike Dirnt’s blog in which I have been constantly following, he mentioned about the recent NTUC Income Capital Plus. It does seem attractive to have a high guaranteed interest rate of return this way and in this difficult period, there are a lot of people who will jump on this boat as mentioned in this blog.
It does seem that applications are closed already but you can still ask your financial advisor.
I was pretty keen on this but i wanted to do some due diligence so i asked my FA too. Here’s her reply.
The guaranteed good return is 2%p.a. for a tenure of 2 years. Suitable for people who have already set aside all other obligations and have very low risk appetite e.g. retired persons. I had only put through one case during this promotion as most of my clients are young and are waiting for investment opportunities for very good return with the recovery. Haha.
If you are asking for yourself, then you didn’t miss anything.
So if you are young, probably you can give this a miss too.
