For some of us who seek the thrills of zipping in and out fast and furious (trading instead of investing), we can allocate a small portion of our investing portfolio for such ‘fun’. Here are some other instruments that are available for you to invest in:
- Forex
- Contracts for Difference (CFD)
- Warrants
- Commodities
- Funds
- ETFs
- Futures
- Options
In the singapore market, you can trade CFD, warrants and ETFs using the same brokerage account for your stock purchases. For the rest, you have to seek other intermediaries to facilitate buying and selling.
So there. A short little introduction to paper investing outside stocks and shares.
