Boosting your Traffic with One Service
Some of us try very hard in trying to drive traffic to our websites but often find it difficult to do so. Whilst there are many ways that we can attempt, I shall share about one service that the common man can use that that it is FREE!
Here’s an example of this current blog which i only recently started on Wordpress. (some posts go way back but they were imported over from my previous blog).
As you can see in the picture below, there are 2 days in which traffic shot up hundreds. Specifically, they were directed to my posts on (1) encouragement for those starting out on online income and (2) optimising your blog for cash and traffic. How did i do it?
I used a social bookmarking aggregator called SocialMarker.
SocialMarker helps to submit your url to the most common social bookmarking sites like Digg, Delicious Furl etc. The great thing is that you can preconfigure your tabs, titles, url in the box on the top right corner of the website. Clicking on submit will take you to a framed page where most of the details are filled in for you if you are already prelogged into the social bookmarking sites.
Do note that you have to register for most of the sites before you can bookmark. This can take sometime. Submitting via SocialMarker is pretty manual too but as it is free, it generates good traffic for beginners and a fantastic test for traffic generation.
For those who are more advanced and do not want to spend time submitting to social bookmarking sites manually, you can try this paid service which accelerates the submitting process to a LARGER group of social bookmarking sites.
