Free Traffic Part 3 - Article Writing
In this Part 3 of the Free Traffic Generation Series, we are going to talk about article writing, something that is very close to my heart.
Article Writing is very important in maintaining a website, and not to mention, having a blog! Writing ought to be in your blood if you are a blogger. There will be times when you feel like a dry well even as a avid writer but it takes planning to make it easier as i have done so myself in this post.
Why Do I say Article Writing is a Great Source of Traffic?
- Provides Great Information
When you write articles on a specific title and post them in article directories, you provide readers great information to take away. These people can also link to these articles and acknowledge you as the author. - Linkbacks
Having articles with your website links create traffic back to your websites from these article directories. If you can see the flow, from other people’s website to your articles to your website. - Increased page rank
Creating linkbacks from article directories with high page rank increases your page rank. This is called leveraging. And articles directories with high page ranks means articles get seen more often (even more than your website sometimes). And when that happens, you naturally drive traffic back to your site. - Reputation builder
Having your articles seen in other places besides your website gives you extra accreditation. With acknowledgements and quotes from others, you might be seen as a guru in your field.
There are many article directories in the web today. Choose those with high page ranks for visibility. You can register with as many directories (unlike the case with link exchanges) and post your articles there as you like.
