Great Webtools that Any Webmaster would Love

- Image via Wikipedia
Besides my last post on WebsiteOutlook, I’ve been doing some tinkering around with Joomla to come up with my website for my product. The learning curve is even steeper than Wordpress itself.
Whilst doing my tinkering and research, I’ve come across several nifty websites and tools, particularly for webmasters. And since there have been some readers asking me for great tools and references, I’d thought I’d share some of them here.
- LinkChecker – shows the quality of all your links
- WebGrader – tests your website on all fronts and shows you the “grade” for it
- Seal Creator – creating your own logo or trademark seal for your website
- Speed Test – see whether your ISP is cheating on your bandwidth
- Whoishostingthis – interested in finding out the hosting provider for a particular website? Visit this.
- Feedmyapps – Latest Apps & Sites online!
I love the last one the best as a resource. Do RSS it if you want to keepup with web 2.0 stuff. If not just bookmark it and search the website if you need ideas in a while.
Do digg this post if you can.

No probs! Hope they help!
Hi Paul,
Is there a reason why you do not use a free application such as wordpress and blogspot?
I read somewhere about the disadvantages of blogspot and wordpress such as the SEO value is not yours and will not be yours even if you were to switch to your own web hosting with own domain name.
I am actually deciding on having my own domain name.
The question is:
How much do you pay for the your own domain name and webhosting…is it able to be covered by the online income?
Is there such as thing as getting your own domain name BUT using a free host like wordpress ( basically just redirect)…will it solve the problem of the SEO value not being yours?
