Why I Like BidVertiser Better than Google Adsense
For publishers (like me and you if you are a content producer), there are varying ways to monetize from the traffic you receive for creating useful content for readers. The most used and obvious way to do so is via advertising. Google Adsense is the most famous of which to do so.
Why?
Because Google dominates about 50% of the online advertising market. Google Adsense is the first advertising provider I have known and I have been consistently using it for sometime. It has the largest reach and many companies advertise on it. As well as many content producers provide it advertising space.
But does that mean being the biggest and having the most reach is the best for content producers?
Not exactly. Here are a few reasons why I decide to give BidVertiser a try for a period of time:
- Flexible Advertisement Templates
A thing that made me peeved was the fixed ad formats that Google Adsense has. They have fixed standard banners like 468×60, 728×90 etc. I had a serious problems with the layout of my blog when it cannot accommodate certain sizes.
I’ve always believed that the ads ought to structure themselves around the content and not the other way around. BidVertiser allows that by having a free-form template of which you can resize and design. Pretty nifty. And guess what, you don’t have to cut and repaste the code into your website. Instead, you can just change it within BidVertiser’s control panel. - Low Payout level
For Adsense, the payout level is minimum $100 and that can take ages for a beginner to accumulate, which can be discouraging. What some of us need is to see the payouts rolling in as frequently as possible to be encouraged. For BidVertiser, the payout is just a mere $10!
- PayPal Enabled
Adsense only allows checks which can take ages to arrive, or even lost… BidVertiser allows payment by PayPal. - Publisher Ad Choices
There is more control over what ads you would like to display on your website for BidVertiser.
- Publisher/Advertiser
On BidVertiser, you can switch between an advertiser and publisher easily. My hope someday is that they will combine the 2 accounts where advertising fee can be deducted straight from advertising earnings.
Do not be mistaken that I would have terminated my Google Adsense account already. I’m merely giving BidVertiser a shot on its services. If you don’t see my ads changing anytime within the next couple of months, you bet that I am happy with BidVertiser.

You really cannot compare bidvertiser with google adsense. As adsense stands very tall well above all. Adsense earns you more money than bidvertiser for sure. There’s no comparison between bidvertiser and adsense…..just see the payout rates and publishers satisfaction..even CPM ads perform better then bidvertisers
Jessica´s last blog ..Why Training is Important for Forex Trading
If you like Bidvertiser, then why you are still using Google Adsense in this blog that I’m reading now.. Bullshit !
heya peter!
At a glance, Bidvertiser did look good given that it allows more customization than Adsense. That was way back in October 08. It was going to be trial then.
I posted the results of my trial after: http://www.passivelifeincome.com/online-income/review-and-test-of-online-advertisement-providers
That’s why I reverted back to Adsense cos it simply made more “money sense”.
Cheers!
Hi Jessica,
Indeed you are right. The payout rates for Adsense are indeed higher. Not to mention the higher click-throughs as well.

After the trial i did, i noticed that my bidvertiser ads are underperforming too because of the relative lack of advertisers through that platform. My bidvertiser ad spaces are often blank.
Guess Adsense still rules.
